This attractive globe artichoke has stunning purple and green flower heads (chokes) with beautiful silver blue foliage. In late summer the flower heads bloom in a spectacular display of purple-pink. Also, these gourmet chokes are tender and delicious when cooked... They must be harvested at the bud stage before the flower matures. Artichokes look absolutely stunning grown as ornamentals, they make a bold structural statement in the garden and the massive flowers are just amazing when used in floral arrangements. Grows to 150-180cm high.

Seeds per packet :: 20

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
