Cinnamon basil is a splendidly fragrant herb that produces decorative green leaves with attractive purple tips and delicate light pink summer flowers. True to it’s name it has a distinct cinnamon aroma and flavour. Use fresh in salads or in cooking, herbal teas and potpourri. Can be grown indoors all year round.

Start seeds indoors in pots. Sow in moist, well drained soil. Cover with a sprinkling of soil 5mm deep and keep moist. Leave in a warm and sunny position. Transplant when plants are large enough to handle.
