Clary Sage is native to the Northern Mediterranean. It has large broadly ovate green-grey leaves and produces stunning tall flower spikes of silvery lilac-blue and pink two-lipped florets. This ancient plant has been used medicinally for centuries. It is also widely used for flavouring drinks. One of the best known plants for attracting bees to the garden.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow direct into garden beds or pots or start seeds indoors. Sow seeds 5mm deep in well drained soil and keep moist. Seedlings can be transplanted at 6 to 8 leaf stage. Space plants 60cm apart.
