This is a delightful variety of Orach which is also known as Mountain Spinach. Ruby Orach produces glorious tall flowers and seeds that turn from deep crimson and fade to warm caramel. The beautiful architectural flower spikes look magnificent in garden beds and these easy to grow beauties are also perfect for cutting and drying. They make a stunning arrangement in large bouquets or in vases. In ancient times the leaves were grown as a highly nutritious vegetable and it has become popular again in culinary dishes today.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow directly into garden beds or you can start seeds indoors in pots of well drained seed raising mix. Ensure all danger of frost has passed before sowing or planting seedlings outdoors. Barely cover with a light sprinkling of soil. Keep moist. Can be transplanted when large enough to handle. Space 30cm apart.
