This is a strikingly beautiful Fennel variety with gorgeous feathery copper bronze coloured foliage. The towering lacy golden flower umbels are a spectacular sight. It is one of my most favourite flowers for drying. Apart from its ornamental beauty, the whole plant is edible... the leaves, flowers, stems, roots and seeds having a delicious, mild anise flavour. A stunningly beautiful and versatile plant for the garden that will attract loads of butterflies and beneficial insects.
Seeds per packet :: 50
Start seeds indoors in trays or pots in late winter or sow directly into garden beds in spring. If starting indoors, sow seeds in a moist, free draining, good quality seed raising mix. Cover lightly with a sprinkling of soil. Leave in a warm and sunny position. Transplant outdoors when plants are large enough to handle.
